APL strengthens the furniture industry in Arapongas APL will have support from the federal government.
APL is a group of companies of the same sector set in the same region or city. In the furniture sector, only the cities of Ubá (MG) e Paragominas (PA) had a test project. Those two and 10 more including Arapongas, were nominated to receive support from MDIC, as long as they present viable projects which are approved. There will also be some financial support , informed the representative for the MDIC, Afonso de Sá.
The city was one of the 15 cities from Paraná selected as a priority fir the government for being a strategic center in the furniture sector in the state. In Paraná, only Arapongas (furniture) and União da Vitória (wooden Windows and doors) created the APL for the furniture sector.
The next step is to design a plan of development, working together with the local APL, the state secretary office for industry and commerce, the city and entities from the business sector.
Trying to increase the competitive skill of the local APL.
APL means a great sum of companies of the same sector the cooperate among them. The APl from de Arapongas seeks to involve all the steps from the production chain, making the sector stronger and having optimized results, generating more jobs and production. Other goals are to invest in the profissionalization of the labor force and design, focusing on the increase of the exports.
APL from Arapongas is led by the local Secretary of Industry and commerce Luiz Pontes, has Marcos Aurelio Tudino as vice president and Sílvio Luiz Pinetti as secretary.
Entities like ACIA, Sebrae, FIEP, Banco do Brasil e Caixa, BNDES, Senai / Cetman, Expoara and furniture companies like Molufan, Grappa, Adex took part in the meeting.
Together, SIMA, FIEP (Federação das Indústrias do Paraná), Secretary Office of Industry, Commerce and Mercosul issues and Arapongas government ha (Fiep) have been organizing the APL of the furniture sector for 8 months. The O objective is to involve all the segments of the production chain in order to optimize results, generating then more jobs and production. Other goals are investments in design and labor force profissionalization, focusing on the increase of exports.
